01Scope and who we are

This policy covers maxsunmedia.com and the personal information MaxSun Media handles when you visit the site, contact us, book a call, or buy from our MaxsunShop storefront. MaxSun Media LLC ("MaxSun Media", "we", "us"), a limited liability company organised in the State of California, United States, is the controller of the information described here, except where noted for Etsy orders.

02The short version

• This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking, and no consent banner because none is needed for the site itself.
• There is no contact form on the site. If you book a call, that happens on a scheduling page hosted by GoHighLevel, and what you type there goes to our CRM.
• We do not sell or rent personal information, and we never have.
• Two things do reach outside parties on page load: our host's server logs, and a web-font request. Both are named below.

03What we collect

Automatically, when you load a page

Our host, Netlify, records standard server access logs: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, the page requested, referring URL, and timestamp. This is ordinary web-server logging used to serve the site, keep it up, and spot abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

Page fonts are loaded from api.fontshare.com (Fontshare, operated by Indian Type Foundry). Because your browser requests the font file directly, Fontshare receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request. We send them nothing else.

When you contact us or book a call

If you email us, we receive whatever you put in the message, plus your email address and any signature details. If you book an intro call, the scheduling page collects your name, email, phone number if you give one, and any notes you add, along with the time slot you pick.

When you buy from MaxsunShop

Purchases happen on Etsy. Etsy collects and processes your payment and account details directly; we never see full payment card information. What reaches us is order-level information: buyer name, shipping address, items ordered, and any personalisation or message you include.

What we never collect

We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information (health, biometrics, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation), and we do not ask for them. We do not run behavioural advertising and do not build cross-site profiles.

04How we use it

• To reply to you. Answering emails, holding a scheduled call, following up on a conversation you started.
• To deliver work and orders. Running a client engagement, or getting a MaxsunShop product printed and shipped to the right address.
• To keep the site running. Serving pages, diagnosing errors, and defending against abuse using server logs.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations. Invoices, tax records, and responding to lawful requests.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

05Cookies and tracking

maxsunmedia.com sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmap tool, and no A/B testing script anywhere on the site. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools.

Two exceptions worth knowing about:

• Affiliate links. The stack page links to tools we use through affiliate programmes. If you click one, the destination site and its affiliate network (such as PartnerStack or FirstPromoter) may set a cookie on their own domain to attribute a referral to us. That happens after you leave our site and is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. Not clicking means no such cookie is set.
• The booking page. The "Book an intro call" button opens a scheduling page hosted by GoHighLevel, which sets its own cookies once you are there.

Because we set no cookies ourselves, there is nothing here for a cookie banner to ask you about.

06Who else touches your data

We keep the list short on purpose. These are the only parties involved in normal operation of the site:

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not disclose it to anyone else except where legally required or where you have asked us to.

07Etsy orders

For purchases on our MaxsunShop storefront, Etsy is an independent controller of your data and its own privacy policy governs your account, payment, and browsing activity on Etsy. We act as the seller and receive only the order information Etsy passes to us, which we use to fulfil and support the order. Requests to access or delete data held by Etsy itself should go to Etsy; requests about what we hold as the seller can come straight to us.

08Legal bases

If you are in the UK, EU, or another region with equivalent law, we rely on these bases:

• Contract. Processing needed to deliver an order or a client engagement you asked for.
• Legitimate interests. Running and securing the website, responding to enquiries, and keeping basic business records, balanced against your privacy rights.
• Legal obligation. Tax, accounting, and compliance records.
• Consent. Where you have opted in, for example to marketing email. You can withdraw consent at any time.

09How long we keep it

• Server logs: retained by our host on its standard schedule, typically weeks rather than months.
• Enquiries and booking records: up to 24 months from your last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Client and order records: for the life of the engagement plus the period required for tax and legal purposes, generally seven years.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. California residents additionally have the right to know what is collected and to opt out of sale or sharing. Since we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising a right.

To exercise any of these, email juliuschua@maxsunmedia.com. We respond within 30 days and may ask for enough information to confirm who you are. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.

11Security

The site is served over HTTPS with strict transport, frame, and content-type headers. Access to our email and CRM is protected by strong authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise absolute security, but we do keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, which is the most reliable protection there is.

12Children

The site and our services are meant for adults and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13International transfers

We operate from the United States, and the providers listed above may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal information is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on the transfer mechanisms those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

14Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes take effect when posted. If a change ever means we start setting cookies or running analytics, this page will say so plainly before it happens.
